Funeral TimeToday was the day, thought Harumi with a sigh.Today the girls would be burying a fellow shrine girl and the air was thick with grief. For Harumi Ayame’s death rocked her world, but not in the way people thought it would. She was worried for her own life, and watching how he killed her, showed how quick a shrine maiden’s life could be. It shook her to her core, and it terrified her that they were going up against a god. Who were they to try and take down someone with what appeared to be unstoppable powers, they were just humans.She went to her closet and shook out a modest black dress that came down to the knees and slipped it over her head. She grabbed a pair of black silk stockings and rolled them up her legs, then slipping on a pair of black subtle heels. She sat in front of her vanity mirror brushing out her hair, deciding what to do with it.
